How to Download and Install

*If you have uninstalled and re-installed Palette8, you will need to update to Palette Version 8.03.

How to download the update program to your hard drive

1. Create a temporary folder (ex. C:\Temp) on your PC to save the update program file to be downloaded.

2. Click on the "DOWNLOAD" link.

3. Select the previously created temporary folder (ex. C:\Temp) where the downloaded file should be stored.

4. Download the file.

How to update your Palette 8 to 8.03

1. Double-click on the downloaded "pal803eng.exe" file from Explore.

Or go to Start menu on Task bar, select Run and input

" pal803eng.exe" file name, click OK.

The update process will automatically start.

2. Follow the instructions and proceed through the update process.

Once the update process finishes, Palette will be updated to Version 8.03 and ready to use.

Layout & Editing

- In the Sewing Order/Lock dialog box, the object that is not stitched is displayed as well.

- Positioning mark printing is also available in Embroidery print mode, which was only available in

Image print mode. (This feature is for the Ellisimo embroidery machine only)

How to print Positioning mark in Embroidery print mode:

• Select Print sewing area box & center axes in Embroidery print mode of the Print Setup dialog.

Then select (Positioning mark) on the right side.
